We are thrilled with our purchase of the 120 bottle wine racks. They look amazing and are very sturdy, ours is now full and we are super happy with it. We did originally order it in the diy kit but when it arrived we found it super hard to put together and we don't have the time or patience, so we then ordered it fully assembled (I hadn't noticed this option on my first order else I would have gone for it!) Anyway it arrived fully assembled and boxed and we are thrilled. We highly recommend this company and their products, but def save yourself the hassle and go for the assembled option is our recommendation :)
Being a handyman had no difficulty putting the flat pack together.
The difference of the area now - instead of cartons all over the floor the wines are elegantly displayed. My eldest son, who recommended you, is envious and wished he had bought the same item.
Overall the rack looks like the pictures and seems to function (we haven't filled it completely yet) properly. Don't believe the "1 hour construction" story. First, you'll need a trolley or a friend to help bring the package inside once it's delivered. The instructions provided are better than nothing, but not much better. Fortunately I am reasonably handy, but if you weren't your nation's meccano set champion as a kid, you're in for a bit of a shock. Basically, you need a flat area the size of the completed rack lying down, with a surface you don't mind damaging as you bash the cross pieces into place with a rubber mallet. This is a job that really can't be co-ordinated between two people, but does require 3 or 4 hands, so the logistics are a bit difficult. If you are over 30, you will need copious quantities of anti-inflammatory drugs for your back, as well. And a tip: I thought starting with the corners would be the best idea - NOPE - work across (or down) in rows. Nevertheless, after about 4 hours and several thousand milligrams of ibuprofen you will have the advertised wine rack. If you get it built without bending any of the metal bits or splitting any of the wooden bits in frustration, well done you!
